Mohamed Amsif

Mohamed Amsif (Arabic محمد أمسيف, DMG Muḥammad Amsif; born February 7, 1989 in Dusseldorf ) is a German - Moroccan football goalkeeper. Since July 2010 he is under contract with FC Augsburg in November 2011, he also plays for the Moroccan national team.

Career

Amsif started his footballing career at the age of six in his hometown at the TuRU Dusseldorf. In 2001, he transferred to the DSV 04 Lierenfeld and the age of fifteen, the German-Moroccan Wuppertal SV Borussia joined before Amsif 2005 moved to the youth of the FC Schalke 04 at the age of 16 years. 2007/ 08 he was goalkeeper of Schalke U- 19 in the A-Juniors Bundesliga. In 22 operations he remained eleven times Concede.

2008 Amsif finally got after his strong performances a professional contract with Schalke (maturing in 2010). Born in Düsseldorf came on as a substitute Schalke goalkeeper behind Manuel Neuer and Mathias Schober but only in the second team of the miners used. In the 2008 /09 season he played twelve games for the second representation in the Regional and moved mostly from Ralf ferryman. In the season 2009/10 Amsif went as the number one goal of Schalke II But after eleven games he lost his place to Lars Unnerstall and came to the end of the season only twice used.

Due to the lack of perspective in the fourth Schalke goalkeeper behind New, Schober and Unnerstall changed Amsif after expiry of his contract for 2010/11 season free transfer to the second division side FC Augsburg and signed a two year contract there. At his pro debut, he came 19 September 2010 against VfL Osnabrück, as the Augsburg goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch had to be replaced with a concussion. In the following game against MSV Duisburg Amsif was 90 minutes on the field for the first time.

After the initial rise of the Bundesliga Augsburg Amsif remained number two behind Jentzsch. After this had been end of October 2011 the ring finger broken, he was replaced in the second round of the DFB Cup at RB Leipzig ( 1-0) from the German - Moroccan who thus completed his first game in this competition. A few days later, on 6 October 2011, Amsif debuted in the 1-2 home defeat against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, because Jentzsch was sidelined again because of the after-effects of his injury.

National

In November 2006 Amsif played his first game for a German national team. He came for the U-18 Juniors against Turkey for use. After that he belonged to the squad of U -19 and U-20 Juniors, who were coached by Horst Hrubesch. His debut for the U -20 he gave in May 2009 in a friendly against Italy ( 1-0) when he was off the bench at half-time for Tom Mickel. As a result, he moved with René Vollath and later Oliver Baumann half times from the target.

In August 2008 Amsif received an invitation of the Moroccan Association for a course the senior team for the first time. On 13 November 2011, he received his first cap for Morocco, as he stood at the game against Cameroon in the grid.

On December 29, 2011 Amsif was nominated for the African Cup of Nations 2012 in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, where he once was used in the match against Niger, which won Morocco 1-0.
