Mützenich
Mützenich is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality of Prüm.

History
The place had Mützenich 1777 twelve house sites, seven of which belonged to prümischen Schultheißerei Bleialf and five for kurtrierischen Office Schoenberg year. The district Schweiler 1777 mentioned with a size of six house sites.
Mützenich long time belonged to the municipality of winter Scheid and achieved relatively late self-reliance as a separate community.
