Nelson Valdez ( 2010)
Nelson Antonio Haedo Valdez ( real last name first Haedo, however, known in Germany under his second surname Valdez, born November 28, 1983 in San Joaquin ) is a Paraguayan football player who stands in July 2013 in al - Jazira in Abu Dhabi under contract. For the second half of the 2013/2014 season he played on loan at Greek club Olympiakos Piraeus.

Youth

Valdez was nominated for Paraguay U-20 squad at the Junior World Championship 2003 in the United Arab Emirates. He played in all three group matches and scored one goal in the last game in the 2-0 win against Germany, Paraguay was second in the group. In the second round they lost 1-0 against Spain.
A-team
In 2004, he was first nominated in the squad for the Copa America by Paraguay. Valdez debuted in Paraguay on 8 July 2004 in a 1-0 against Costa Rica. In the second match in a 1-1 draw against Chile. In the quarterfinals, they dropped out against Uruguay, after losing 1:3.
On 17 August 2005 he scored his first goal for Paraguay against El Salvador.
