Niepars (Amt)

The office is centrally located in the district of Vorpommern Niepars Rügen in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ), the northernmost district of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In office Niepars the ten municipalities United Kordshagen, Jakobsdorf, Kummerow, Lüssow, New Bartelshagen, Niepars, Pantelitz, Steinhagen, Wendorf and Zarrendorf have joined forces to fulfill their administrative business. The administrative headquarters is located in municipality Niepars. Since 1 January 2004, the municipality Zarrendorf part of the office.
The office area extends west and south of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. The north is bordered to the Office Altenpleen, the West is adjacent to the offices Franzburg- Richtenberg and Barth and the south is bordered to the Office Miltzow. To the north is bordered part of the Office to the Grabow. In the municipality there are several larger lakes, the Borgwallsee and Pütter lake. The river rises in the Barthe office area.
Economically play only the industrial areas near Stralsund a role. Tourism is underdeveloped.

Two railway lines cross the area of the Office Niepars:
- At the railway stations are the Rostock - Stralsund Kummerow ( Stralsund ) and Martens village. At both stations stop every two hours, the trains Barth - Stralsund the UBB web.
- In Martensdorf also holds every two hours, the Regional Express Rostock - Stralsund - Sassnitz DB Regio AG.
