Nikolai Prokhorkin

Nikolai Nikolayevich Prochorkin (Russian Николай Николаевич Прохоркин; * September 17, 1993 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since November 2012 again at HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Nikolai Prochorkin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Vityaz Chekhov, in which he was active until 2010. His team chose him in the KHL Junior Draft 2010 in the second round than a total of 26 players, so no other KHL team was able to acquire his transfer rights. However, the attackers then moved to HK CSKA Moscow, for its professional team, he made his debut in the Kontinental Hockey League in the 2010/11 season. In his rookie year he was point and impunity in six games. Parallel to the game Operation with CSKA in the KHL, he played for the youth team Krasnaya Armia in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League and won in the 2010/11 season with the team the Kharlamov Cup, the championship of the MHL.

In September 2012, Prochorkin received an NHL entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings and played through November of the same year for the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League before he dissolved his contract and returned to CSKA.
