Nyeri County

Nyeri County (until 2010 Nyeri District ) is a county in the Kenyan Central Province, whose capital is Nyeri. The county extends over 2361 square kilometers and in 2009 had 693 558 inhabitants. 13.7% of the housekeeper have electricity.

It is located southwest of Mount Kenya massif and about 100 kilometers north of Nairobi.
