Oberpöring

Oberpöring is a municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Deggendorf and office of the Management Community Oberpöring.

Geography

Oberpöring lies in the Donau -Wald on the River Isar, on the southern edge of the Gäuboden.

There are the following districts: Niederpöring and Oberpöring. Other districts are Alttiefenweg, Gneiding, guarantees and Oberpöringer moss.

History

Oberpöring belonged to the Counts of Yrsch. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark who had taken the Earl of Baron von Closen on Arnstorf and happy to the end of the 18th century. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community. 1834, the castle was razed to the chapel.

Incorporations

On 1 July 1972, the hitherto independent neighboring community Niederpöring was incorporated. On May 1, 1978 parts of the territory were added to the dissolved municipality Ettling.

Population Development

On the territory of the municipality were 1961 1112, 1970 1080, 1987, 1014 and 2000 counted 1085 inhabitants in the year. At the end of 2011 Oberpöring had 1142 inhabitants.

Policy

First Mayor since 1982 Josef Loibl ( FWG / Unpa.Wgem.N / FWG ). Deputy Mayor Thomas Piller ( FWG ), another mayor is Albert Kiermeier (UWG Niederpöring ).

Parish council

The local elections of March 2, 2008, there were at a turnout of 96.94 % following result:

  • FWG 6 seats ( 51.0 %)
  • UWG Niederpöring 4 seats ( 31.8 %)
  • FW Gneiding 2 seats ( 17.2 %)

Tax revenues

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 444,000 in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted € 45,000.

The coat of arms description reads: In silver over a green Dreienberg a black oblique bar that is coated with three golden balls, top left, a black sign with three vertical silver diamonds.

Economy and infrastructure

Economy, agriculture and forestry

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the manufacturing sector and not in the trade and transport any social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the workplace 14 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 384 in the manufacturing sector there were 31 establishments in the construction of four plants.
