Orroli

Orroli is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2357 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Cagliari in Sardinia. The community is located about 79 kilometers north- northeast of Cagliari. The Flumendosa flows on the eastern boundary of the municipality and is dammed here. In addition, there is the Lake Mulargia another larger ( artificially dammed ) lake in the southwestern municipality.

History

The municipality is the Nuraghe Arrubiu, the largest collection of tower structures of the so-called Nuraghen.

Traffic

Orroli has a station on the narrow gauge railway line Manda -Arbatax, which is served in the summer months from Trenino Verde.
