PenÃnsula de Setúbal Subregion
The Península de Setúbal (Portuguese peninsula of Setúbal ) is a Portuguese subregion and part of the Lisbon Region (formerly Lisboa e Vale do Tejo ) and the district of Setúbal. The peninsula is bordered on the north by the River Tagus ( and, theoretically, to the Greater Lisbon ) and at Lezíria do Tejo, in the east and in the south Alentejo Central Alentejo Litoral. In the south and west of the Atlantic Ocean adjacent to the mainland. The area of the sub-region is 1582 km ². The population in 2010 amounted to 782 786 inhabitants. The subregion consists of nine counties:
