Pfuri Gorps & Kniri

Pfuri, Gorps & Kniri was an international renowned blues / folk band from Switzerland. The members were called Pfuri Baldenweg, Anthony Fischer and Kniri Knaus. The trademark of the band was making music with everyday objects such as lawn mowers, garbage can, plastic bags, mouse traps and garden hoses.

The group met in 1978 at the Roskilde Festival as well as 1977 and 1979 at the Montreux Jazz Festival. She also participated with Peter, Sue & Marc at Euro Vision Song Contest 1979 where she placed tenth. The band was known in addition to their live concerts by well-known TV appearances in shows such as the Peter Alexander Show, Bio 's Bahnhof, Rose d' Or and 1, 2 or 3 etc..
