Philippe Léotard

Philippe Leotard ( born August 28, 1940 in Frejus, † August 25, 2001 in Paris) was a French actor and singer. He was the brother of the politician François Leotard.

In his theatrical beginnings in Ariane Mnouchkine in 1970 by a brief appearance as a dispute -seeking drunk François Truffaut in table and bed. Truffaut was also the way I entrusted to him by a supporting role in Two Girls from Wales with the role of Clovis in a beautiful girl for the first time a major role. His breakthrough he experienced in the early 1980s as a spy Dede Laffont in La Balance - The Betrayal, for which he won a César for Best Actor in 1983.
