Rathen

Rathen is a spa town in the Saxon Switzerland & Eastern Ore Mountains in Saxony. It is located about 35 km southeast of Dresden on the rocky scenery of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains Saxon Switzerland. The place belongs to the administrative community Königstein / Saxony Switzerland. Rathen is the inhabitants and area smallest municipality in Saxony.

History
