Riccardo Montolivo

Riccardo Montolivo (born 18 January 1985 in Caravaggio ( BG), Italy) is an Italian football player who also has the German nationality. He works mostly in central midfield.

Career

In the club

From 15 to 18 years Montolivo played in the famous talent pool of youth Atalanta Bergamo. In the 2003 /04 season, he ran for the first team in Serie B and the following season in Serie A. He made his debut on 12 September 2004 ( 1st Round ) 2-2 draw at home against U.S. Lecce; He scored his first goal on 23 October, 2004 ( 7th Round ) in a 2-2 draw at home against Cagliari Calcio.
