Rizal (Cagayan)

Rizal is a town in the Philippine province of Cagayan. In 2010 it counted 18,592 inhabitants. In the west the municipality borders the province of Apayao. The village was named before 1914 Malaueg, lies in a partly mountainous area. The terrain rises in certain parts of the community to be over 400 meters. In the valley agriculture is mostly done. Rice, corn and tobacco are the main crops.
