Aparri

Aparri is a town in the Philippine province of Cagayan, which also includes the northerly island of Fuga is one of the Babuyan Islands. The municipality is located north of the province and at the mouth of Cagayan, the longest river in the country. In 2010, Aparri had 61 199 inhabitants.

From the community Fuga from Iceland is managed. A major educational institution in the community is the Cagayan State University.

Aparri was in 1400 a Japanese trading post.
