Pamplona (Cagayan)

Pamplona is a town in the Philippine province of Cagayan and is located in the north of the province of the Philippine Sea. In 2010, living in the 171.7 km ² area 23,236 people, giving a population density of 135 inhabitants per km ². In the south of the borough is adjacent to Luna in the province of Apayao, on the east by Abulug and to the west by Sanchez- Mira. Pamplona was created in 1844 by merging the two places Abulacan and Masi. The indigenous people of the area are the Ibanag, but which are increasingly displaced by the Ilokanos.
