Rob Leask

Robert " Rob" Leask ( born June 9, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a retired German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who played at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the DEL. From May 2013 to February 2014 he was active as a coach for the EV Regensburg.

Career

The 1.88 m tall defender started his professional career with various teams in the Canadian Junior Football League OHL before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1991 as 209th in the tenth round. However, the links Sagittarius never stood for the Capitals in the National Hockey League on the ice but ran only for various farm teams in tiefklassigeren leagues.

In 1996, Leask in the German Hockey League, where he played from now on for the Polar Bears Berlin. With the polar bears of the defender won the German championship in 2005, 2006, 2006, he left the capital city after ten years in Hamburg Freezers. Internationally
