Rögle BK is a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Ängelholm, which since the 2013/14 season in the second highest Swedish league, the HockeyAllsvenskan plays.

History

The club was founded in 1932 as the bandy team, the hockey department was created in the 1950s to life. In 1966, the ice hockey team rose for the first time in the Allsvenskan, the then highest league in Sweden, and belonged to this division in three years. In the 1991/92 season the team managed to once again take the plunge in the highest Swedish Hockey League, Elitserien the meantime, where it could remain until 1996, but then decline in the Kvalserien in the HockeyAllsvenskan. In 2008, the team reached as one of the four best teams in the HockeyAllsvenskan the Kvalserien in which one finally was able to win a starting place for the 2008/ 09 Elitserien season.

2010, the club rose again from the second division before the 2012/13 season was a renewed rise in the highest league level, but you did not make it to keep the league.
