Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santo Domingo

The Archdiocese of Santo Domingo (Latin Archidioecesis Sancti Dominici, Spanish Arquidiócesis de Santo Domingo ) is a location in the Dominican Republic Roman Catholic archdiocese based in Santo Domingo.

History

The Archdiocese of Santo Domingo was built on August 8, 1511 by Pope Julius II to the Pontifical bull Romanus Pontifex the diocese of Santo Domingo.
