Ronald Jack Mix ( born March 10, 1938 in Los Angeles, California, United States), nicknamed " The Intellectual Assassin" is a former American football player. He played as an offensive tackle and guard in the American Football League ( AFL) and the National Football League ( NFL ) for the San Diego Chargers and the Los Angeles Raiders.

Playing career

Ron Mix attended Hawthorne High School and, after graduating from school, a scholarship to the University of Southern California ( USC). Mix studied law and played for the football team his college, the " USC Trojans ", American Football. In 1960 he was drafted by the Baltimore Colts but also from the Boston Patriots. The Patriots were playing in the newly formed American Football League, but gave before the season the rights of mix of the Los Angeles Chargers from. Honors

Ronald Mix played eight times in the Pro Bowl, the final game of the best players of the season. He was elected to the All-Pro nine times.
