Ryan Bertrand

Ryan Dominic Bertrand (born 5 August 1989 as Southwark ) is an English football player and current left-back at Aston Villa active.

Sports career

Club career

After he played until 2005 for the youth team of FC Gillingham, Ryan Bertrand moved in July 2005 to Chelsea, and thus returned to his hometown of London. In 2006 he began his playing career in the men's and moved on loan to AFC Bournemouth. In the following years several lending to unterklassigen clubs followed to collect match practice. His first league goal succeeded Ryan Bertrand during his time at Reading FC when he scored one goal on 10 March 2010 against Derby County.

On August 5, 2010, the Chelsea announced a renewed lending. Ryan Bertrand moved for six months on loan to the English second division Nottingham Forest, where he arrived in the first league game at Burnley FC over the full distance to use. On January 3, 2011, he returned to Chelsea. On 19 May 2012, he was winning the Chelsea FC against FC Bayern Munich in the starting lineup of the London at the Champions League.

On January 17, 2014 Bertrand on loan until end of the season at Aston Villa.

English national football team

Ryan Bertrand went through several English youth national teams. He also took part in the U-19 Football Championship in 2008 in the Czech Republic, but where he already retired with his team in the first round. Also for the U -21 Football Championship 2011 in Denmark, he was nominated and came in the three group matches are used. Once again, failed his team in the first round. On August 15, 2012 Bertrand played in the friendly comparison with Italy ( 2-1 ) his first game in the A-team of England, when he came on in the 78th minute for Leighton Baines game.
