Bregl as Haida

On the eastern edge of the village, on Bregl as Haida, was in the 7th century a frühmittalterliche, Carolingian church hall with horseshoe-shaped apse. It was mentioned in the will of Bishop Tello in 765 Columbanskirche. It can be assumed that S. Columban was a private church of the Viktoriden churrätischen family who owned nearby, on Bregl, a large manor house, which is described in detail in the Testament. The farm included along with a heated house and farm buildings with water supply, vegetable and fruit gardens and vineyards. Subterranean ruins posed by S. Columban, indicate the dimensions of the manor house. The area is owned by the canton of Graubünden and is under the protection of the Swiss Confederation.

Based on a design by the architect Peter Zumthor end of the 60s a stele was erected; In 2004 she was refurbished.
