Samuel Turell Armstrong

Samuel Turell Armstrong ( born April 29, 1784 in Dorchester, Massachusetts, † March 26, 1850 in Boston, Massachusetts ) was an American politician and 1835-1836 Acting Governor of the State of Massachusetts.

Samuel Armstrong, who grew up as an orphan from the age of 13, attended the public schools of his home and then rose into the printing industry.
