Santa Giustina

Santa Giustina is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6774 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Belluno in Veneto. The community is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Belluno in the Piave. Santa Giustina is part of Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Belluno.

History

The origin of the municipality is located in the Lombard period from 568 to 774 from the following time of the Franks, the first church building stems. As of 1404, the municipality was part of the Venetian Republic.
