Sariaya, Quezon

Sariaya ( officially: Municipality of Sariaya, Filipino: Bayan ng Sariaya ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon.

Sariaya is between the Banahaw volcano and the Tayabasbucht. Through the territory of the municipality, the rivers flow Sadyaya, Lagnas, Mamala and Gibanga.

The town was founded on October 4, 1599.

Every year on 15 May, the Agawan Festival.

In Sariaya are two public high schools, the Lutucan National High School and the Canda National High School, as well as a private school, which is home to Sariaya Institute and two denominational schools, St. Joseph 's Academy and St. Francis High School.
