Schmiedrued

Schmiedrued (Swiss German: ʃmɪd ˌ ruəd ) is a municipality in the district of Kulm in the canton of Aargau. It is located in Ruedertal in the south of the canton, bordering the canton of Lucerne. The unofficial name of the municipality is Schmiedrued - forest.

Geography

The municipality is located in the upper part of the Ruedertals, which is drained by the Ruederche. The valley floor is always very narrow and barely more than 50 meters wide. History
