Reinach (Swiss German: ri ː nəχ ) is a municipality in the district of Kulm in the canton of Aargau. It is located in the upper Wynental and borders the Canton of Lucerne.

Geography

The village extends over the entire width of the trough-shaped valley of the Wyna and has two historical centers that are just half a kilometer apart, the upper village and sub- village. The valley is bounded on the east by the Ischlag ( 651 m above sea level. M. ) and the north- east by the Homberg ( 788 m above sea level. M. ). History

Isolated finds are evidence of a settlement of the upper Wynentals during the Neolithic, the Bronze Age and the Hallstatt period. On the road to Beinwil the remains of a small Roman building as well as some brick and pottery fragments from the second half of the 2nd century came during excavations in 1900 revealed.
