Siehdichum

Siehdichum is an official belonging to municipality in Oder-Spree district of Brandenburg.

Geography

The municipality is located in a Siehdichum marked by the Weichseleiszeit hills, which is almost completely forested. The western boundary of the municipality is the Schlaubetal, to the east the land drops sharply to formed by the Oder Ziltendorfer lowlands. To the southeast, the area of the steel plant of ArcelorMittal city and the city of ironworks town joins.

Community structure

Siehdichum divided into three districts, which are lined up along the eastern northwest trending regional road between garbage and Ironworks Rose City. To the west lies the district of Schernsdorf, followed by Rießen. Pohlitz lies in the east.

History

The community Siehdichum was formed as part of the Brandenburg municipal reform on 26 October 2003, the formerly independent communities Pohlitz, Rießen and Schernsdorf. The name derives from the old forester's house was Siehdichum, which lies a few kilometers from the settlement area on Hammersee.

The districts Siehdichums have already been created in the late Middle Ages. In 1300 Rießen was first mentioned in documents as Angersdorf. A deed of sale over the Angersdorf Pohlitz is known from the year 1332. Also in the 14th century, the village streets Schernsdorf was first mentioned.

Schernsdorf himself had several districts that were resolved in 2003 before the merger. These were Kallinenberg, Ragower mill Siehdichum and Wustrow. The village was mentioned in 1347 as a documentary Sczchirnisdorf first time. By 1969 was at Schernsdorf a water mill, the mill agent, which was demolished because of a decision in the GDR.

Pohlitz has an airfield since 1966 east of the village. There is also a museum of sheep Shepherd Association Maerkischer Heidehof. The place now has 485 inhabitants and was first mentioned in 1318 as " Parlitz maior et minor" ( Big and small Pohlitzer lake).

Siehdichum has a community council of thirteen seats. One of them holds the mayor.

For honorary mayor of votes Wolfgang Beitsch has been elected in the municipal elections on 26 October 2003, 64.3 %.

Attractions

In the list of monuments in Siehdichum and in the list of ground monuments in Siehdichum are registered in the list of monuments of the country Brandenburg cultural monuments. For this purpose, among others, the Ragower mill belongs in the district Schernsdorf.

Traffic

Siehdichum is located on the regional road 37, the ironworks city and garbage Rose Couples.

Siehdichum part of the transport system of Berlin-Brandenburg. As public transport is the bus 443 of the BOS available, running between these two cities and holds in all three districts. The nearest railway stations are Mixdorf and garbage Rose on the railway line Frankfurt- king Wustershausen and Ziltendorf on the railway line Frankfurt- Cottbus.

In the district Pohlitz is also home to the airfield ironworks city of Frankfurt ( Oder), where the municipality holds a share ( 2%).
