Skövde Municipality

Skövde is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County and the historic province of Västergötland. The main town of the municipality is Skövde. Other towns are Igelstorp, Lerdala, Skultorp, Stöpen, Tidan, Timmersdala, Ulvåker, Väring, Värsås and several smaller villages.

Geography

The western part of the municipality is taken from Table Mountain Billingen, the city Skövde is situated on its eastern foot. To the east of the mountain an intensively farmed level spreads. In the northern town of bird lake is Easts.
