Nine Lives (English for " Nine Lives ") is a song by British hard rock band Def Leppard. The song was written in collaboration with the country singer Tim McGraw, who in this song the song with Joe Elliott shares.

Background

Contact with McGraw came through his tour manager Robert Savage, the brother of Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage -, materialize. McGraw is a fan of Def Leppard and had already been in the past, with the band in Los Angeles on stage and sung the title "Pour Some Sugar on Me " with the group.

At the concert in Nashville in 2007 came McGraw for the soundcheck and then worked in the Sparkle Lounge, a room behind the stage, which was equipped with twinkling lights, incense, candles and recording devices, with the band " Nine Lives ". For this title, a video clip was filmed.

The title was released as a single, but was able to reach the charts in either the United States nor in Britain.
