South Korea women's national volleyball team

The South Korean national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best South Korean players, the Korea Volleyball Association represents in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

At their first participation in a World Volleyball Championship, the South Koreans only played against three teams and finished third. In 1974, she occupied the same space, but had to prevail against 22 competitors. About fourth place, we went down to first to eighth place in 1986. In the next two tournaments South Korea cut as fifth and fourth again better. 1998 and 2002 reached the South Korean women places nine and six. Olympic games

World Grand Prix

After three fifth and sixth place South Korea in 1997 reached the third place in the World Grand Prix.
