Stéphane Goulet

Stéphane Goulet ( born January 7, 1986 in Lévis, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. The winger ( power forward ) is since 2012 in the COOL FM 103.5 de Saint- Georges in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey under contract.

Career

Goulet began his career with the Remparts de Québec in Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec, for which he 54 times standing on the ice in his rookie season and it was able to achieve 14 points. In 2004 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the seventh round by the Edmonton Oilers.

At the beginning of the next season he was transferred to the Moncton Wildcats, where he obtained 47 points in his first season. In the playoffs, he played in all matches for the team, with this difference, however, made ​​in the second round. The next season was his most successful up to that point, when he scored 51 goals and 42 assists in the regular season and thus helped the team to win the Trophée Jean Rougeau for the best team in the regular season. He also participated with the Wildcats in 2006 at the Memorial Cup, where he scored two goals in the game against the Peterborough Petes.

After his junior signed Goulet time for the season 2006 /07 a contract with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. For the 2011/12 season Goulet moved to Germany and signed a one-year contract with the ETC Crimmitschau from the 2nd Bundesliga. In 48 games this season, he scored 18 goals and 27 assists while, so he was the third-best scorer of his team. However, Goulet decided after a year in Europe for a return to North America, as he had difficulties in social life in Germany. In May 2012, he signed a contract with the COOL FM 103.5 de Saint -Georges from his home province of Quebec.
