2006–07 ECHL season
The 2006/07 season was the 19th regular season of the ECHL. The 25 teams completed in the regular season per 72 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Las Vegas Wranglers, while the Idaho Steelheads won in the play-offs, their second Kelly Cup.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Cincinnati Cyclones were reactivated after two years break and took the game mode again.
- The Texas Wildcatters, which were left out due to damage to their own stadium by Hurricane Katrina the preseason, the game operation resumed.
- The Greenville Grrrowl were no match approval of the ECHL, as their financial future was not secured, whereupon they set the game mode.
- The San Diego Gulls presented after several years of losses by operating a game.
