1999–2000 ECHL season
The 1999/2000 season was the twelfth regular season of the East Coast Hockey League ( ECHL ). The 28 teams completed in the regular season every 70 encounters. The point of best team in the regular season were the Florida Everblades, while the Peoria Rivermen won in the play-offs, their first Kelly Cup ever.

Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Columbus Chill stopped the game operation.
- The Miami Matadors stopped the game operation.
- The Chesapeake Icebreakers have been to Jackson, Mississippi, relocated and played from then on under the name of Jackson Bandits.
- The Arkansas River Blades were added as an expansion team in the league.
- The Greensboro Generals were added as an expansion team in the league.
- The Trenton Titans were added as an expansion team in the league.
