Gwinnett Gladiators
The Gwinnett Gladiators are an American ice hockey team from Duluth, Georgia. The team plays in the ECHL since 2003.
History
The Mobile Mysticks were in 2002 from the East Coast Hockey League to Duluth, Georgia, resettled, where they recorded for the seasons 2003/ 04 under the name Gwinnett Gladiators game operation in the ECHL again. In its first six seasons after resettlement Gwinnett reached the playoffs in each case to the Kelly Cup, the biggest success of the franchise was in the finals in the 2005/06 season. After the team had already completed in the regular season, the South Division first, they dealt with a bye the first round and beat in the second playoff round of the South Carolina Stingrays, and then the Florida Everblades and Toledo Storm. Only in the final, the team from Georgia was defeated the Alaska Aces in the best- of-seven series with 1:4 victories.
