The Stites Township is one of 22 townships in St. Clair County in the western part of the U.S. state of Illinois. In 2010, Stites Township had 749 inhabitants.
The Township is located in the Metro - East called the eastern part of the metropolitan area of Greater St. Louis the city of St. Louis in neighboring Missouri.
Geography
The Stites Township is located in the eastern suburban area of St. Louis on the east bank of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Missouri.
The Stites Township is located at 38 ° 39'01 " north latitude and 90 ° 09'45 " west longitude and extending over 3.7 km ².
The Stites Township is located in the extreme northwest of St. Clair County and is bordered to the north Madison County.
