Geography

Geographical location

Taching lies to the west of the lake Tachinger against Tettenhausen. The designation " lake " is geographically still acceptable, though. Lowering of the supplies, which emanates from the south end of the lake at Petting, the lake level in 1867 decreased by two meters, so that Taching is now slightly removed from the lakeshore So, now only the campground with the beach - restaurant and the leisure and recreational facilities with a beach and sports field near the lake. The district lies to the north of the Tengling Tachinger lake.
