The Tampa Stadium was an American football stadium in Tampa, Florida. It was from 1976 to 1997 home of the NFL team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was after the construction of Raymond James Stadium, which is sometimes called "The New Sombrero " ( in memory of his predecessor, despite its non-circular designs ) demolished in 1998.

Super Bowls

On January 22, 1984 was the first Super Bowl, the Super Bowl XVIII between the Los Angeles Raiders and the Washington Redskins in this stadium instead, the game ended 38:9 for the Los Angeles Raiders. The second Super Bowl in this stadium, the Super Bowl XXV, took place on January 27, 1991 held between the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills, the game ended 20:19 for the New York Giants.
