Teramo Basket is a former Italian basketball club from Teramo in Abruzzo. The first professional team played from 2003 to 2012 in the top domestic league championship Legabasket Serie A before the game operation company was liquidated due to financial reasons. History

Founded in 1973 on the initiative of Paolo Antonetti as Associazione Italiana Cultura e Sport ( AICS ) Teramo, the club initially played only successful in regional competitions. 1995, they finally played after two climbs after another in the fourth- highest division series B2. Already in the second season, a further promotion to Serie B1 succeeded in 1997.
