2009–10 Eurocup Basketball

The 2009/10 season was the eighth season of the discharged from the ULEB Euro Cup.

The title was won for the second time the Valencia Basket Club from Spain.

Mode

Qualifying began on 20 October 2009 and ended on November 3, 2009. The regular season began on 24 November 2009 and ended on 18 April 2010 with the final game of the Final Four tournament. At the first group stage of 32 teams took part. In addition to the 24 directly qualified teams there were eight teams from the 2.Qualifikationsrunde. The 32 teams were divided into eight groups of four teams. It has every played against each a double round. The top two of each group came to the second group stage. The last round of 16 was played for the first time in the history of the Euro Cup. Just as in the first group stage, the 16 teams were divided into four groups of four. It has every played against each a double round. The top two of each group came in the quarterfinals. The winner of the tournament was determined in a Final 4 tournament.
