Duane Woodward
Duane Harland Woodward ( born June 4, 1976 in New York City ) is a retired American professional basketball player. After completing his studies in his home country Woodward played professionally in Europe, first in the Austrian and German Basketball Bundesliga. Later Woodward played mainly in Cyprus, Italy and Venezuela. In 2011 he finished his playing career with Peristeri GS. Woodward's career in German-speaking countries was overshadowed by a massive assault on a teammate during the German first division BCJ Tigers, which led to a temporary dismissal of the player.
Career
Woodward went in 1994 to study at Boston College, where he played for the college team Eagles in the Big East Conference of NCAA Division I.
