The Big Read
BBC Big Read ( German about: BBC Big Read ) is one of the the British broadcaster BBC uniquely created in 2003 List of British favorite books. In the vote to this, 750,000 people took part.
The BBC invited its viewers, the " for- all - times" to name - favorite book. The 21 most cited works were prepared as abstracts and transmitted by the BBC in a specially created literary program from October 18 to December 13, 2003.
The BBC animated following people to form " Big Read" book groups to discuss the books arranged in a row and make the Big Read books known.
