Tim Hambly

Tim Hambly ( born June 23, 1983 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the ERC Ingolstadt in the German Ice Hockey League since 2009.

Career

Tim Hambly began his career as a hockey player with the Waterloo Black Hawks, where he was active in the Junior League United States Hockey League in the 2000 /01 season. He then played four years for the team from the University of Minnesota Duluth, before he was towards the end of the 2004/05 season his debut in professional hockey. For the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL the defender gave two assists in eight games. In the following season, he ran again for Las Vegas in the ECHL, but was parallel for the Iowa Stars and Omaha Ak -Sar - Ben Knights of the American Hockey League on the ice, where he played for the latter until its relocation in 2007. The contract rights of the left-handed shooters were subsequently taken over by their successor team, the Quad City Flames.

After the Americans had spent the 2008/09 season in the AHL Rockford IceHogs club, for whom he scored 29 points scorer in a total of 83 games, he was obliged by the ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in the summer of 2009.
