Tim Jitloff

Tim Jitloff (born 11 January 1985 in San José ) is an American alpine skier. He specializes in the slalom and giant slalom.

Biography

Jitloff grew up at Lake Tahoe and learned to ski in Alpine Meadows. In December 2000 he took part for the first time in FIS races. Operations in the north -Am Cup followed in November 2002. Known to a wider public he was due to his success at the Junior World Cup 2005 in Bardonecchia, when he won the gold medal in the combined score. In the season 2006/ 07 he decided the slalom standings of the Nor -Am Cup itself, the 2007/08 season he finished fourth overall.

On December 17, 2006 Jitloff played his first World Cup race, the giant slalom on the Gran Risa in Alta Badia. At the 2007 World Championships he finished 18th in the giant slalom and 25th in slalom. As 20 of the giant slalom in Soelden October 26, 2008 Jitloff drove to the start of the 2008/09 season for the first time in the World Cup points ranking. At the 2009 World Championships in Val d'Isere Jitloff showed places 22 in the slalom and 26 in giant slalom. At the next World Cup in Garmisch -Partenkirchen 2011, he started only in the super combined, which he finished in 14th place. In the World Cup Jitloff scored in the 2010/11 season with eighth place in the super combination of Bansko as well as in the 2011/12 season with the tenth place in the giant slalom in Beaver Creek each have a top 10 result.

His previous best World Cup results are two fifth places in the Giant Slalom, achieved on February 21, 2009 in Sestriere and on December 22, 2013 in Alta Badia.
