Tlyustenkhabl

Tljustenchabl (Russian Тлюстенхабль; Adyghe Лъэустэнхьабл ) is an urban-type settlement in the Republic of Adygea (Russia) with 5403 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010 ).

Geography

The village is located about 90 km as the crow northwest of the Republic capital Maikop and about 10 km southeast of the center of Krasnodar, the administrative center of the neighboring Krasnodar region. It is located on the left bank of the Kuban, immediately below ( west ) of more than 10 km long dam of Krasnodar reservoir, near its northern end.

Tljustenchabl belongs to Rajon Teutscheschski and is located approximately 25 km north- west of the county seat Poneschukai. It is the seat of the municipality Tljustenchablskoje gorodskoje posselenije, which includes in addition to the settlement nor the Aul Tugurgoi and the settlement Tschetuk -2.

History

Tljustenchabl was founded as adygeischer Aul 1840. In connection with the establishment of Krasnodar reservoir was built next to the newly built, 13 km southern city Adygeisk ( 1976-1992 Teutscheschsk ) to one of the places the beginning of the 1970s, to which the inhabitants of the to engulfing villages were resettled. On February 28, 1973, was awarded the status of an urban-type settlement.

Traffic

To the east of Tljustenchabl leads across the dam of the Krasnodar reservoir past the highway M4, which connects Moscow with Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast.
