The Toro Rosso STR8 is the eighth Formula 1 racing cars of the Scuderia Toro Rosso. It is used in the 2013 Formula 1 season, motor supplier is Ferrari. On February 4, 2013, was presented at the Circuito de Jerez public.
Technology and Development
The STR8 is the successor to the STR7. The car hides the " nasal hump " by the newly introduced Eitelkeitsblende. Developed by James Key car is powered by a Ferrari V8 engine with a displacement of 2.4 liters, which develops an output of 550 kW ( ≈ 750 bhp). The tire supplier Pirelli, the unit is available.
Like all Formula 1 cars, the 2013 season is equipped with KERS and DRS of STR8.
The car is an evolution of the previous model year. The rear area has been made considerably slimmer, and the side boxes have now received a dynamic profile. The operation of the suspension was completely changed in order to setup the STR8 can be adjusted better.

The Toro Rosso STR8 is painted in dark blue color. Due to the sponsor logos Cepsa and Red Bull owns the car red accents. Cepsa advertises on the rear wing, Red Bull on the engine cover and the side boxes. Other major sponsors include NOVA Chemicals and Falcon.
