Tyson Marsh

Tyson Marsh ( born June 20, 1984 in Quesnel, British Columbia) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since January 2012, the Alaska Aces under contract and playing on the position of the defender.

Career

Marsh began his career with the Quesnel Millionaires in the British Columbia Hockey League. In 2001, he spent three seasons with the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League. During this period he scored from year to year more points scorer. Then he moved to the 2004/05 season to the AHL franchise of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the St. John 's Maple Leafs. After just one point in 21 games to put a Marsh until the end of the season with the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL in that also maintained a partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The following two seasons spent Marsh then again at the AHL franchise of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Marlies, the franchise was relocated during which St. John's to Toronto. Due to lack of success Marsh was still during the 2006/07 season back in the ECHL to a cooperative association of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Columbia Inferno sent. He finished the season with 21 points in 48 games. The following season he moved to the American Hockey League to the Rockford IceHogs, which held a cooperation with the Chicago Blackhawks. Here he came, however, only eleven missions, in which he scored four points.

The following 2008/09 season began Marsh at the Reading Royals in the ECHL, but after only eight games and scored three points, it was for him to the Chicago Wolves in the AHL before he in after 29 games and six points for the Alaska Aces the ECHL moved to be used in the playoffs. With the Alaska Aces, he came to the Kelly Cup final, which he lost 4-3 with the Aces against the South Carolina Stingrays. He stayed for another season in Anchorage, in which he scored 13 points in 30 games, but then switched to the 2010/11 season to Europe to the Italian first division Alleghe HC in the Serie A1. In 40 games, he was able to record 19 points, but failed with HC Alleghe in the quarterfinals of the playoffs at the finalists HC Val Pusteria.

End of July 2011 Marsh was hired by the SC Riessersee from the 2nd Hockey League. Mid-December 2011 it was announced that the SC Riessersee Marsh separated and in return, the Swedish defender Alexander Deilert took them under contract. In January 2012, Marsh hired again at the Alaska Aces.
