Unleashed in the East (English for " released in the East" ) is a live album by Judas Priest. It was released in October 1979 on Columbia Records and the Heavy Metal is attributed.

Formation

Unleashed in the East is the first live album by Judas Priest, also the first album, which was produced by Tom Allom. This produced from then until 1988 all the band's albums, including Ram it Down. The recordings for Unleashed in the East come from two performances in Tokyo and Nakano, Japan, in February 1979. Music style

Authenticity of the recording

Persistent rumors doubted early on that Unleashed in the East was in fact a real live recording. Thus, it was indicated that most of the vocals of Rob Halford were added later in the studio by overdubbing. Also, some or all of the guitar tracks were later recorded in the studio, so Unleashed the term " live album" actually no longer deserve in the East. It has even been put into circulation, the entire album was recorded in the studio and the background noise of the hall and the fans have been inserted with studio technology and archival footage to give the impression of a live recording.
