Vejle Municipality

Vejle Kommune is a Danish municipality in eastern Jutland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the "old" Vejle municipality with the previous municipalities Børkop, Egtved ( with the exception of Vester Nebel Sogn, the new Kolding Kommune joined ), Give and Jelling, and the parish grejs the former Tørring - Uldum Kommune.

Vejle Municipality has a total population of 108 826 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​1062.00 km ². It is part of Region Syddanmark and operates within the region Trekantområdet with five neighboring municipalities.
