Vesthimmerland Municipality

Vesthimmerlands community is a newly established on 1 January 2007 as part of the Danish municipal reform community. It consists of the former municipalities Aalestrup, Farsø, Løgstør and Aars.

The community Vesthimmerland has a total population of 37 586 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) and an area of ​​769.80 km ². It is part of North Jutland (Region Nordjylland ), the administration has its headquarters in Aars.
